Carribean carnival happens in several countries in the Caribbean and North American countries throughout the year. It is a tradition that dates decades back. Louis Saldenah has been a band leader for Caribana in Toronto for several decades now. He is following the legacy of his father who was a band leader on the island of Trinidad. Saldenah has more than followed a legacy, he has created a legacy of his own after now winning band of the year at the festival 18 times now.
Caribana has now become one of the biggest Caribbean festivals in North America bringing out thousands of people and Louis Saldenah is the king of it all.
